Miners Overview
FlameWire miners form the operational backbone of the subnet. They operate by exposing full-archive RPC endpoints and receive compensation from daily ALPHA token emissions.
Daily Rewards
Miners earn a portion of 41% of daily ALPHA emissions (approximately 2,952 ALPHA/day distributed among all miners based on performance).
Reward Distribution Model
Compensation follows a performance-based allocation system. Rewards are distributed pro-rata to performance weight — the higher your correctness, uptime, and latency scores, the larger your share of the emission pool.
Node Scoring
Each node receives an individual score based on three weighted metrics:
| Metric | Weight | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Correctness | 40% | Binary score — node must return correct data for all validation tests |
| Uptime | 30% | Ratio of passed health checks to total checks performed |
| Latency | 30% | Response speed relative to other nodes in the network |
Zero Tolerance for Incorrect Data
Correctness is binary. If any validation test fails, the node receives a Correctness Score of 0, heavily impacting overall rewards.
Regional Incentives
FlameWire encourages global distribution through regional multipliers. Nodes in underserved regions earn higher rewards:
- Regional Multiplier — Ranges from 0.5x (saturated region) to 2.0x (underserved region)
- Diversity Bonus — Miners with nodes in multiple regions earn +10% (2 regions) or +20% (3 regions)
- Diminishing Returns — Additional nodes in the same region contribute progressively less (1st: 100%, 2nd: 50%, 3rd: 33%, etc.)
Strategy Tip
One high-quality node in an underserved region often earns more than multiple nodes concentrated in a saturated region.
